Finally back home in Singapore...

Well, we're finally back in Singapore for a while...and I must admit, its nice to be home in our own place...


It's even better now that I have my own couch to lounge on too!!


For my friends in Singapore, see you soon... for those reading from across the seas, it was great to see you all, and hopefully we'll meet again soon :)

Claire in Melbourne | Shopping

Well, surprise surprise, but we spent the majority of our time in Melbourne...shopping and eating...but it was nice as it was really cold, and so I got to dress up in all my wintery clothes...

Here I am enjoying a lie down in one of the shops while mummy tried on some clothes...


And enjoying a biscuit while waiting outside for mummy...


Buying some shoes...


After all this shopping, I need to eat... but which one first...


At night it was even colder, so I had to really rug up warm...


Even though it was cold, the sky was beautiful every day...


Here we are waiting for the tram to arrive...

Enjoying a late dinner in one of the cafe's in the lanes of Melbourne...


Overall, I loved Melbourne, and hope to go back many a time in the future... Just need to think of a good reason to go back!!!

Claire in Melbourne | Castlemaine

Today we went with Grandma to Melbourne...in the 30-odd years she's been living in Australia, she's never been...so we thought we'd treat her...

Well, okay, so its not ours...


We hired a car so we could drive Grandma to Castlemaine, where the head office of her company is located...here I am just resting in the long drive...


This driving business is sure tiring...


So much so we had to stop in a cafe and sing to grandma...


When we got to Castlemaine, there wasn't too much to do...so I posed for some shots...

Claire in Sydney | A day at the Beach

On our last day in Sydney before heading down to Melbourne, daddy insisted we go to the beach...as any trip to Sydney would not be complete without fish and chips, and a splash in the beach...

Here I am with mummy after daddy took me into the water. It was so freezing cold that all I could do was cry...maybe next time we'll go when its not so cold...


Vivi and Ida came and met us at the beach, and gave me a nice cuddly bunny and a cardigan...


As usual, daddy wanted some artistic shots...Its such an abuse you know...


I'm practicing my "I'm not amused" look...


It's not widely know, but there's a nudist beach at La Perouse where we have fish and chips...so I thought I get into the action...


On the way home, mummy and daddy tried to sell me off...and to think, they're offering a discount!

Claire in Sydney | Another Day Out

Today I went to the little cafe near grandma's office... We wanted to surprise her!

Here I am telling grandma and granddad a joke...


It's a hard job keeping these people entertained!


On the way to dinner, we stopped at a small shopping centre, and I rode the Seasame Street ride...


I also drove a big car...


Dinner was with Auntie Heather and Uncle Richard (formerly from Singapore)...before we went out though, we had time for a quick photo of Millie...she's grown so much hasn't she...she's lots of fun...


Oh, I am so tired now...its hard work this life...

Claire in Sydney | Leichardt

Today we went to Leichardt to have dinner with some of Daddy's friends... Before we went, I got to try Licorice...It was yummy, but very messy...


On the way to dinner we stopped at a Christmas warehouse (you'll see the videos later if you are interested!)... Here daddy was trying to capture me with the Sydney sign behind me...silly daddy...


Once again, its all about me...


It was quite cold at Leichardt, so I finally got to wear my nice jumper...


And run around in the cold wind... yeah!

Claire in Sydney | Lunch & Dinner Again

Not much happened today, but when I woke up, I had really sore teeth, so daddy looked in the freezer for something cold...but all we had was frozen sausages... this wasn't too pleasant...


We had lunch at Pho An with Auntie Mimi and Iris...


Went home for a quick rest...


Before meeting Irma, Stanley, Angelica and Kingsley for dinner...


I got to wear Angie's apron...
