Here, for $10, you get a large tray of delicious satay sticks, with plenty of peanut sauce. This time, we tried another local specialty, fried stingray, which was great.
The building in the back is an old wet market, which now serves as a cheap but cheerful inner-city foodcourt, and the place Hanna and I eat lunch most days.
Every night at around 7pm, the street is closed and the hawkers setup. It doesn't take long for the place to be packed, and you can smell the satay a mile away.
Just writing this is making me hungry...
