Easter with Oma | Sydney

Today we spent the day in the city and surrounds, enjoying the beautiful autumn weather.  We visited Chinatown for breakfast.  The Opera House and Botanic Gardens, a drive through Vaucluse and to the Gap, followed by dinner at the Pitt Street Mall.

Strangely Keira didn't like having grass thrown at her...

And daddy kept insisting on pointing out the near-complete 60MP which he's very proud of.

The girls visited dad's favourite cake store, Savoy in Haymarket...  Dad used to be the only non-asian-girl who visited this shop during his uni days.

Easter with Oma | Nan Tien & Austinmer

This week we're enjoying a visit from Oma, who hasn't been here for exactly two years, and this time Ie Mer came along too.  Last time she was here was for mum & dad's wedding!

To start the week we headed down to Nan Tien temple in Wollongong for the morning.  We've been here before with Oma, and the girls have definitely grown some since then!

After the temple, we decided to take Oma and Ie Mer to a proper aussie beach for some fish and chips.  So we drove over to Austinmer, where we were able to demonstrate real beach life (by parking just steps from the sand) and enjoying a proper fried platter!

Random | April 2019

Another random month (well first half at least before Oma & Ie Mer come join us for a holiday...

The most significant thing to happen this month was Mum was hospitalised with a very angry Gallbladder (its no longer angry as its in the surgical waste bin.  Mum's all better now, but it meant dad got to spend a whole week at home with the girls... Joining Keira for the parents v kids AFL match, Aerial performance, and walking to and from school for the week.

 Keira's Aerial performance...first in stills...then in motion.
