Sunday Splash!

Today we had a nice relaxing day at home... I got dressed up for a call with Grandma and Auntie Miriam...

And had a good laugh...

We went for a quick walk down to the shops...and afterwards, I went for a quick splash in the pool...

Auntie Mimi's going to tell mummy off for not putting me in my proper swimsuit, but we had to be quick!

Dressing up...

Yesterday, before we went out for brunch, I tried on my new dress from Gap...

I thought I looked so pretty, but mummy and daddy thought it was still a little big! Maybe I can wear it in Sydney!

I just thought I'd share it with you though...

Friday fun!

Last night, just before bed time, daddy let me try on mummy's head band... I think it really suits me!

Daddy thought it was so cute that as soon as he got the camera out, I posed and smiled, but really, what else does he expect?

Today Mummy and I came to see Daddy at work for lunch. We went to a Vietnamese place nearby with Auntie Irene and Auntie Felicia. Although I cried when I first saw them, it wasn't long till I was smiling again!

I made a short video with Auntie Felicia who came up with a nice quote for the day "She's Hot! I'm Hot Too!!!". You can click the quote to see the video!

We took a nice group shot together... All the pretty girls...

Followed by a nice one with mummy and daddy...

After lunch, mummy took me shopping, to buy some tickets to go back to Semarang again... Yippee...we get to see Oma again soon!

Bangkok Drinks...

On our last day in Bangkok, we enjoyed a nice Japanese dinner...and what would a dinner be without a beer...

Daddy wouldn't let me drink it...but I did chew on the top of the bottle...helps relieve the pain of teething!!!

But maybe it was stronger than I thought!!!

And...just before we left, I made sure I got a photo that at least looked like Bangkok!!!

Oh... After Bangkok, Daddy rushed off to Ho Chi Minh City, and brought me back two dresses! One of them is way to big now, but I'll post a picture of me in the other one soon!!!

Bangkok

Hello Everyone!!! I've been hassled since we got back from Bangkok to post some pictures, so here we go... I didn't take many pictures while I was away... If the truth is told, I barely got to see anything as everywhere I went I was surrounded by people trying to squeeze me and cuddle me.

This is me at the airport...if you squint you can just see the planes in the background.

Daddy thought I was old enough now to play on the slides...but he wouldn't let me slide down...even though I really wanted to!

We didn't really do much in Bangkok... a bit of shopping here and there, but it was nice to relax in a nice hotel...this time a proper hotel!

Relaxing like Grandma!!!

Oops... I rolled over!

Shopping & Smiling..

Today we went out shopping to Bugis Junction... We planned to have a nice lunch with Auntie Ira, and not to spend much money, but mummy and daddy saw a sale, so I came home with 5 pairs of pajama pants, two shirts... haha..

Obviously...I'm a happy girl!!!

Here I am with Auntie Ira...Mummy knows her from back in Bali... I haven't been to Bali yet (hint hint)...

What are you looking at?

muahh... I love you mummy!!!

And... some new pjs (well not new, but my first time wearing them!). Auntie Mimi bought me these, I think I look like a little Japan girl hehe...

My First Swim

Daddy stayed home from work today...but it wasn't much fun as mummy and daddy spent most of the day sleeping and complaining about being sick... Its much more fun when they are both in good health.

Daddy's recovering well though, and by the late afternoon he was back to his normal antics, and decided we should go for a swim.

I've never been swimming before...I've put my feet in the water, but never more than that!

So I put on my swim nappy (seems mum and dad may have bought one which is too small...)

And then we headed down to the pool. I was a little nervous at first, but once I got the hang of it I enjoyed it.

Its quite cold though!

Can't wait to swim again...

Playing Around...

This weekend, we didn't really get up to much. On Saturday (my birthday - 4 months and counting) I got my vaccinations (thanks dad, great birthday present!!).

After that, we went shopping and I got a nice pair of pants, shirt and jumper from Gap. I'll post some pics later when I wear them!

On Sunday, we just bummed around the house as Mummy and Daddy were both sick...

I tried to play some nice relaxing music to cheer them up...

and when that didn't work, I tried to stun them with my model pose...

But in the end, all I needed to do was smile to make their day!

We’re Back!!!

Happy 2008 to all my adoring fans!!!

We have just come back from a couple of weeks in Indonesia, and I have a few tales to tell, so make sure you scroll down through the following posts to see all my photos. (Though if you want to truly experience my holiday, you should start from the bottom and work up).

But… you go, I made mummy & daddy so proud the other day when I rolled over for the camera. I have even figured out how to get my arms out after rolling. I still need some practice getting back over again, but it’s a good start!!!

Family time, Semarang

For the rest of our holiday, we spent our days relaxing, eating and playing together.

I really enjoyed playing with my cousins, aunties, uncles and especially Oma…

I visited Oma’s office with Mummy and auntie Siannie (though we call her Mummy Sian).

Then went to Oma’s house (where Mummy grew up), and took a photo with my cousin Dylan.

I showed off how I can stand with some help from daddy…

Before driving back home at night.

The holiday was great, but not really long enough…I now miss all my family in Semarang (and Surabaya) and can’t wait to meet them all again soon.

Christmas, Yogyakarta

My first Christmas, and we spent it with the family in the hotel.

After breakfast, we headed off on the drive back to Semarang… We thought it would be a quick 2-3 hour drive…but alas, Mummy got really sick with food poisoning and needed to keep stopping, and then it raining so hard that we almost got washed away!!! We even ran into the car in front of us!!!

But, we got home safely and mummy got some medicine so its all good in the end!

Love Claire…

PS There will be some more pictures this weekend of me with all the lovely gifts I received from afar.

Parangtritis, Yogyakarta

While in Jogya, we visited the ‘famous’ Parangtritis beach… This is the first beach I’ve ever seen, so I can’t really comment, but the photos from Australia look a bit cleaner…we’ll have to wait and see.

Here’s our happy little family on the beach…

And the first time my feet touched the sand…such a nice feeling…

That I had to stop and ponder for a while…

Before riding on Dylan’s shoulder’s back to the car.

Yogyakarta

We arrived in Semarang to the welcoming arms of Oma, and promptly went home to Candi to rest.

The next day we headed off to Jogya for a mini-holiday, and to meet with the rest of the family. Here I am in the car.

While we were at the hotel, there were plenty of photo opportunities, as well as a manicure by the garden.
