After our big announcement during Keira's birthday celebrations, we all made the journey out to Windsor to meet with our newest family member, Spud.

Following on from our short visit to see Spud, we had an extremely long wait (of a week) until we could bring Spud home (to his new home). Welcome to the family Spud!
Another big big of news this week was the surprise announcement that we'll have a puppy joining us in the family in the next couple of weeks... We broke the surprise through a gift potato... and filmed it in the below... If you watch carefully you'll see the moment Claire picked it (before the reveal)...
All in all we're extremely excited...and there will be many more updates to come!
Today we celebrated our wonderful girl's 10th Birthday! As she's just a little obsessed with Potato's these days, a key part of her present was some customised t-shirts to continue her obsession!
To celebrate we headed out to an italian place for dinner.
Next day, Keira celebrated with a small birthday party with her close friends... A game of bowling, laser tag and arcades... Followed by a slumber party!

So... My earnest effort to get back into regular blogging hit a road block and introduced a three month lag. But in an effort to keep the blog current, the below is a flying trip through the last three months of fun in and around the Beaver household.
First up in May, we spent a weekend in Canberra, where we met Dan & Liz's latest addition, Snags!
Then... A day trip out with the Bastianon's by the water... It started as a nice lunch and then ended with a stroll by the beach in the winter sun.
And a trip into EQ to see Puff's, the other play about a certain wizard in a certain wizarding school..
During the school holidays, the girls came into the city and spent a day on site with dad as 60 Martin Place comes to a close...
The girls were provided VIP access through the site, including to the highest point of the building (the roof of the Lift Motor Room)... A few of the workers were a bit surprised to see them on site.
Another day in the holidays the kids spent the day with the Bastianon's and whipped up a stranger things cake with Rosie!
Other highlights... Keira put on an aerial performance at the end of her term of classes...
