The Gang at Christmas...

Normally when I come across additional photos from a previous post, I may update the earlier post and that's about it...  This time around though I thought these photos (photography by Auntie My) has captured the beauty of this bunch of kids so well that it deserved a post all to itself.

This group of 7 little ones (with another due in January) is a miniature version of a group of friends who've known each other for the better part of two decades (and in a few cases a bit longer)...  The kids have been meeting each other for birthdays, dinners and a couple of Christmas's, but this was the first full-gang get-together in over 6 years!

The cast in order of appearance (in the photo on the left below) is Amy, Chloe, Lachlan, Claire, Keira, Sarah,  Nikhil (in later photos) and number 8 due in January.

Best of friends...

Cheers!

 The whole gang...all together!

Daddy & Daughters day...

In an attempt to get back into the blogging routine, here is our second post for the day/week/month...

Today was Daddy & Daughter day... the plan was to go to the zoo...but the threatening clouds meant a rethink (not wanting to get caught out in the furthest corner of the zoo in the rain - again)... So we took the ferry into town...

Keira was feeling a bit tired in the ferry...

But a group selfie always brings out a smile!

We spent the morning in the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) exploring and generally having a lot of fun.   After that we wondered around the Rocks Market for a while before heading over to the Lowenbrau Keller for a lite lunch.

Something in the food turned the girls a little strange...

After all that, there was nothing more to be done that get the ferry home and spend the late afternoon in the pool followed by a movie night cuddled up on the couch....  A perfect day really!

A really big catch up post!

So it seems I have let the blog slip by another 2 months... and don't seem to be getting anywhere with catching up... So what follows is a really big batch of photos from the last couple of months... We've all been so busy, between birthday parties, christmas parties, school shows and events, a camping trip and more...  Alas we don't have photos from every event, but here are some highlights from the last couple of months....

First up are the 2nd batch of photos taken by Seb when he was in town... Here are the girls with Cindy... With a nice moody cloudy background...

 Daddy and the girls...

And a very cute little foot....

And a cute little swimmer...

Some Halloween horrors....

Here's Keira and her beau, Matthew...

Claire and her friends from school have been in the pool a lot of late...

 A little model in waiting....

Come mid-November dad and the girls took mum out for a birthday dinner...

Happy Birthday Mum!

Complete with cupcakes...

The girls have been enjoying walks in the neighborhood and local parks...

About a fortnight ago we went out camping with Chloe and Amy and their family...

As usual  the girls thought it was great!

Our very cheeky little Keira...

What would camping be without a blazing fire.

So the girls can sit around gossiping...

And generally having fun!

And all of a sudden its time for Christmas parties!  First up was the KF party arranged by the parents...

Then Claire and her class put on a performance during assembly, the Reindeer Pokey....

Next up was Keira's preschool show... Keira was a beautiful angel for the first half...

And then played and sung along with her good friends...

On the same day, Claire was scheduled to receive an award at school... so the girls got ready for the day by posing for the day...

We are obviously super proud of Claire for receiving an award in front of the entire school...

Claire's very proud to celebrate with her teacher...

And finally, this past weekend we had a Christmas party for our old group of friends...

Here's Claire and Chloe attempting a selfie!

Claire and Keira before the party started...setting up the reading corner!

And here's the group...17.5 of us....

And some 7 or 8 years ago (with no kids!)
