Then and Now... 7 years on...

To celebrate our 7th anniversary, we decided to have a picnic at Nurrangingy Reserve, to allow the kids to visit all the places they have seen in our photos.

We arrived to a beautiful day...much clearer than that wet day 7 years ago...

During the day, we took the kids around the various landmarks in the park, as they have spent a lot (too much) time looking at our album and dvd, so they were quite excited to be there.

Though, when I told them our plan for the day, they both got excited, as they thought it was going to be a real wedding, and they'd get to throw rose petals and dress in a beautiful white dress..

Circus + Party = FUN

Let's just start by saying daddy is very slack, and has neglected his photo-taking and blog-making duties for a very long time...  

Back in mid-September, after attending a fair-day at the pre-school, where the girls had face painting...

We decided we would treat them to a day out at the circus...  We started the night with some popcorn...

The circus started, and generally the girls seem to enjoy the show...  The lions had Kiera a bit worried, but it was a lot of fun.  When the trapeze girls came out, Claire looked to us and said, "Why do they want to do that....it doesn't look fun to me"...  After which she kept her eyes shut for most of their act... She was rather worried one of the girls were going to fall!

After the fun of the big-top, we spent a bit of time out in the fairground...  Keira wanted to try the teacups at first...

But very quickly wanted to follow Claire onto the big inflatable slide... The girls played so nicely together, with Claire waiting patiently at the top so Keira could slide down with her...

Happy 5th Birthday Claire...

Hola...We've been celebrating birthday's again.  Whilst Claire's just had her birthday this week, we started the week with a joint birthday party for the little princesses...

Though, it would seem that in the excitement of the party, we missed all the kids!  So this year we have a short-video of the song...but not really anything to capture the guests... (poor form daddy)...

 Then, the 5th rolled around, and it was time to wish Claire a happy birthday..her 5th it would seem!

As usual, the day was all smiles from the princess (including tiara thanks to grandma and granddad)...

We made a bunch of cakes for Claire to take to school the next day... She proudly told her friends that daddy made them....

Claire's birthday wish was a trip to the zoo...which translated to day out at Featherdale Wildlife Park today.
