Our tales and stories, from a not-so adventurous family blending cultures and tastes from across the Timor Sea.
The band carried on the busy April with a gig at Mt Druitt Westfield, in the Street University Battle of the Bands.

The band got the opportunity to play at an all day music fest in Petersham - as a bit of a practice gig for a busy month to come! The fan club were out in force and it was a great day!
Here we are in early April - at the end of the Easter long weekend - after our last post in December 2025! It seems that now Claire's 18 and finished with school, and Keira's 16 and always busy - there just isn't many opportunities for photos as a family (we should be happy we still get the occassional family day I suppose :))
The important things which photos haven't captured... Claire's now officially a uni-student at UNSW... Keira's in Year 11... Mum and dad are another year older - and spend most of their time with Spud (or playing Pickleball).
Other than that... a lot of time spent in the mundane, school and work, driving the girls back and forth...
We celebrated the start of the Year of the Horse with a feast at home... its not the same without the big family from Indonesia - but it was a late Chinese New Year this year.
Mum and Dad slipped down to Melbourne for a weekend to celebrate Matt & Gin's 50th - the theme was red and white - so we went as Ketchup & Mayonaise... the costumes were very well recieved! While we were away Claire went out mardi-gras'ing.
Keira's getting her hours in driving...
Keira had her urban adventure school camp (which we enjoyed vicariously via her blog photos.
Hoppers! The most anticipated movie of the year - we were able to catch a pre-release screening, collected some merch and celebrated with a lunch at Hai Di Lao.
Spud. Enough said.
And then the rest of the month...
