Bologna, the city that wasn’t photographed!
After arriving in the afternoon from Modena, Dad seemed to be on a downward trajectory, and really had been since the first night in Venice and what we think was a dodgy prawn (which was passed to him by one of the girls). So we settled for a local restaurant that turned out to be quite amazing, and enjoyed a great lasagne and pasta meal before heading back to rest at the apartment, which was a cool loft apartment in the top of an old building, right in the centre of town.
Fast forward a couple of hours and the food poisoning (evil prawn) has finally beaten dad, and he doesn’t leave the apartment at all for the next 36 hours or so (barely moves at all to be honest!)
So, the girls enjoyed themselves in Bologna, visiting the sites, eating what dad is told was amazing pizza, great pasta and the best gelato to date.
