And so our holiday comes to an end, with a couple of days in the great city of London. Whilst we spent most of the time shopping (Hanna wasn't feeling the best, and the cold weather wasn't helping), we did manage to see a few sights, and very much enjoyed the town. We're still undecided as to whether to come back and live here...we'll have to see what comes up.
It seemed that we were destined to miss out on a lot of things whilst on our holidays. As with the Louvre, the London Eye was closed whilst we were in town, apparently for maintenance. What are the chances! But I did manage to get a shot with blue sky in London. (It should be noted that over my shoulder were dark storm clouds rapidly encroaching).
Lastly, one of us in the open top bus tour. We sat on top for about 15 minutes before deciding that the freezing wind was not going to be good for our health...so went back downstairs.
Before leaving the UK, we spent a night in Sunbury with the other side of my family, and met up again with my Grandad.Overall, we had a lot of fun, and as always, the more you see, the more you realise you haven't seen, and this trip has just opened our eyes to a whole world of opportunities for travel and/or work. Let's see what happens! ;)
