Seven Bridges Walk

After suffering daddy's momentary lapse of sanity (Oxfam Trailwalker) the Beaver's decided to sign up for the 7 Bridges Walk on 26 October this year.  We figured if we were going to walk, we'd rope in a few families to make a real day of it...

And so it was that at a ridiculously early time on Sunday morning, we met with three other families (9 kids!)  to get the train into the city to start our walk from Milson's Point.

The train carriage was rather noisy with the kids all a little excited...

Even the mum's were excited, posing for the signature feet-together-start pose...

The kids waiting for the start of our big walk...

The Beaver's on the first Bridge...

The whole gang at our end-point... We managed to cross 5 bridges (though a couple of them happened to be in the bus... All in all we walked a good 10 km (with Keira walking almost all of the way...

Here's a shot from our second last bridge (Gladesville Bridge), such a beautiful Sydney day...

After all that walking, the gang all came back to our place for a cooling swim and rest... The kids all enjoyed some yummy pizzas...

And some icy cold treats!
