Kids Kampung & Nomura (one last time...)

Hola!  We've been busy little Beaver's this last few weeks...but it seems daddy has been getting camera shy and forgetting to take pictures of his beautiful litte girls...

On 7 September, daddy took a morning off work to join Claire and Keira on a trip to the Kids Kampung out near Changi...it was the girls first real school excursion... (Maybe daddy was dreaming, but it seemed the teachers were a little disappointed that he came along - as it meant the girls were focused on him instead of the teachers)...

First of all was a bus ride to the Kampung, where the girls shared a seatbelt at the front of the bus and had a great time...

Then, upon arrival, it was time for a show...  Our girls were front and centre...

Claire made daddy very proud when she volunteered herself to participate in the show (first time she's had the confidence to do so)...and she was rewarded with a chance to hold a mouse (not the best prize we admit!)

Here's a video of the show...you'll note the MC was VERY singaporean...

Next up was fishing in the small pond... Claire was quite apt at this sport as you can see from the next video (thanks to some help from the teachers)...

Keira was not as keen...particularly after she saw a couple of the tiny fish stranded on the ground next to the bucket...

Next it was time to dance...

After the fun of the Kampung, the kids weren't happy to hear daddy needed to work Saturday...so they dressed up to come and spend an evening with daddy...

I had promised them they could write on the wall...which they thought was the best thing since...anything...

Silly dad assumed that since whiteboard markers rubbed off, they'd be safe with clothing... apparently not as we found out after Keira's brand new dress received some green decorations...

After the brainstorming session on the whiteboards...it was time to step into a video conference...

Before finishing up by preparing for the board meeting...
