First things first...Happy Birthday Claire!!! We wish you all the best and hope the year to come is great! We have had a busy week this past week, with preparations for the birthday party, as well as some guests from Sydney specially for the party (well, they especially stopped over on their world trip)...
The girls were both so happy to have Grandma and Granddad here for a couple of days...
Claire however had been excited about her party for weeks... This is the first time she really appreciates that the party is hers...and she's really gotten into the party-girl groove!
At Claire's request we had a pinata... A nice little pony...which the kids took turns beating with a bamboo pole...
Claire made sure everyone got a turn, and no one took longer than they were alowed.
Claire tried as hard as she could, but it was one very tough little pony...
But finally... lollies, and savage kids...
We were extremely proud of Claire, who at the end made sure everyone had some lollies, and shared her own with those that missed out (not without explaining that next time they need to be faster).

And then in Chinese (and almost to Claire's annoyance, Japanese)... You can see in her look she was ready to eat... not sing!!!
And lastly, choosing the cake...its very difficult when there are so many choices in front of a young girl...

As you can see, the girls had a great time with the grandparents...
After the party, it was present time..
And now she's officially 4 years old!!!
