We took advantage of some nice autumn weather (before it starts to get too cold) to grab some lunch before heading for a walk along the water a Drummoyne.
After which we drove for all of 4 minutes before stopping for slurpee's. Another 2 minutes and we were by the water again (though a little further up river)...
As a celebration for the end of the week, we caught up for dinner with the Campbell's in Parramatta for a german meal... Followed (on the kids request) by froyo!
And then, to top off the fun...our first family trip to an actual live sporting event! Last year we had season tickets and didn't make one game, this year, single tickets so we made sure to get there... We saw the GWS Giants take on Collingwood at the Spotless Stadium.
The girls were a little disinterested for the first two quarters...but as the match was very closely fought, and we were surrounded by a good crowd of active Giants supporters, they started to get into it. And what a great intro into sports, with the match only being one in the final minute. Made the day all the much better to have our team win (first time against Collingwood), so the cheer from the crowd was awesome.
And then... on the way out we noticed something rather scary...its becoming harder and harder to tell these two apart!!!!
