Road Trip 2015 | Canberra

On the 10th January, we set out on a two week road trip that was to take us through Canberra, Wagga Wagga, Melbourne, Wagga Wagga and back...  We've split the posts up by destination...so here goes!

Before heading out to Canberra, we hit Parramatta for a night of Teppanyaki.  The kids loved the cooking demonstration, with Claire especially keen to join in the 'games'.  Round 1 was an omelet, tossed from the grill into each diner's mouth.  Round 2, a bowl full of rice tossed in quick succession to 3 or 4 empty bowls...

After dinner, we visited Chocolateria San Churro for some warm churros goodness (with ice cream on the side!)

It was then time to pack up the car and head on down to Canberra...

Where soon after arriving, Daniel fed Claire to a wondering dinosaur, and that's the end of it.

Once we recovered Claire from the Dinosaur Museum, we visited Costco (to see what we could find)...  Even the trolley's are massive!

The next day, after a morning at Questacon (which is daddy and Daniel's favourite place it seems), we visited the National Arboretum to fly kites.  Here's dad trying to be a kite!  Followed by a few shots of everyone else actually flying the kites!

Since Daniel & Liz were kind enough to share their home for the weekend here's a photo of them out kite flying with us!  Followed by the Nomad Claire...

Before leaving Canberra, Daniel gave the kids a lesson in Just Dance on the Xbox (which Claire nearly shared with his work team!)  Great dancing Dan!
