The last few weeks have gone by in a bit more of a blur than usual, with quite a lot going on in the few days a week that the whole family manages to be in the same place at the same time (too much traveling to Wagga it seems)...
We start off with a weekend's visit by Daniel and Liz, who joined us for a couple of days (a couple of weeks ago)... To make the most of their visit, we all headed into town for a day in Darling Harbour.
Here's Claire, wearing what is basically a vintage coat, which happens to be Mum's coat from when she visited Hong Kong back when she was very young. It's been lovingly looked after all these years by Oma, in the hope that a grandchild would have the chance to wear it. Well, Claire loves it (and has been wearing it quite a lot since).
Keira on the other hand is wearing something a bit more modern, and was loving the sunny (though windy day).
Every time we've ever been to Darling Harbour with the kids, they've always wanted a go on the carousel, and finally daddy relented and allowed them to ride...
They also had a rather extended go on what was a very cool swing!
After lunch, we went for a walk through Paddy's and Chinatown, stopping for a visit at an old-time favourite...Morning Glory! Here the girls picked up a new look!
It's amazing how different a simple set of frames can make the girls...
Here's a shot of Keira with her Pre-school buddies...
Last Tuesday, Claire had her Athletics carnival...
Where she participated in long-jump...
Sack races...
And the 100m sprint (where unfortunately her shoe came off shortly after starting - captured on film below)...
And generally just had a lot of fun outside with her friends...
