Mum could you please prepare my snack...

We've had a couple of weekends go by with just the generally rush of weekends taking our time.  Now dad is traveling more to Wagga (3 days a week), weekends are more precious than ever for the girls.  Unfortunately, the increase in travel has coincided with daddy's mission to complete the Oxfam Trailwalker (meaning he is off training most Sundays!)...   So the girls are really trying to make the most of the little time they actually get with dad!

We'll start with a note Claire left on the fridge for mum before heading to school... Very polite, but very to the point.

Claire attended a party for Hana, a school friend, and it happened to be at the ice-skating rink.  Claire did well trying to skate (and daddy did well avoiding the ice)...  Hopefully we'll have another chance to see Claire on the ice sometime again...

The KF kids had another get-together with Ms Feather this last week...

On Saturday, we had a nice Indonesian feast at Ayam Goreng 99 (Kingsford) with Matthew, Joshua & their folks, before heading over to Centennial Park.

Keira decided she need to practice her cycling (whilst demanding daddy walk along beside her)... In the end she did 9 circuits of the track, and a whopping 4.5 km...not bad on tiny wheels...

While all this activity was going on, Claire and Matthew made like Monkeys and ate in the trees!

On Sunday, after daddy returned from a training walk, we headed down to a new playground on the Parramatta River.  Whilst Daddy kept telling the girls to be careful, he managed to slip and fall rather clumsily on his tail (and has been complaining since!)...

It is quite an active playground, with a larger slide and climbing areas for the kids...

Here's an action shot of Keira...

And just some general photos of the family enjoying a winter's day in the sun.
