Firstly, after arriving back in Sydney on the Monday afternoon, Claire headed off to her first day at North Rocks Public... very excited and anxious to get there on time!

Claire was welcomed to school with a big hug from Madelyn...who had obviously missed her over the Christmas holidays!

The next big first (and the next day) was Keira's first day at North Rocks Preschool! She was so excited to start, and made a good first impression, with all the teachers commenting how friendly and confident she was. When mum came to collect her to go home, she was busy entertaining her new friends with some silly antics!
Keira's had lots of practice at the preschool, having collected Claire many a times, so she was happy to proudly claim the climbing frame as her own now!

All the fun sure took its toll on Keira, who is still adjusting to the lack of day-time sleep! Mum found her like this in the playroom, after going to check on her when things got a little quiet!
A trip on the weekend to Balmoral...ended in a similar fashion...
Claire was quite happy to spend 2 hours in the sun though!
Lastly, another first of sorts...Whilst Claire has received an award earlier in the week (for allowing her friends to participate in a music class, even though it meant she missed a turn), she received an award today at the School Assembly. She was very proud going up in front of most of the school. Hopefully this will be one of many to come!
