This weekend we are enjoying a couple of days in Singapore which were quite unexpected... You would think after all the trips we've done over the years, we'd know that we need to check on the Visa requirements...but alas, at the 11th hour...we realised mum needed a visa for Japan!! So... a frantic trip to the embassy, followed by a lot of phone calls, and our trip has been delayed by 4 days...
Anyway, we've tried to make the most of it... Keira's really enjoying the cookie... this is the look she gave us when we asked if she would share...
Strangely similar to the look that Claire was giving us!
Keira is a cheeky girl isn't she!
After cookies, some dinner and shopping, the girls were treated to some ice cream (of which daddy ate most...so we're not sure who was being treated!)
This morning, after visiting a furniture shop, and photographing the car to get it advertised for sale, we got in the lift in the basement, only to have the fire alarm sound, and the lift return to the lobby... With no idea on how long it would take, daddy walked up the stairs to the 13th floor (with the cabinet we bought), grabbed the swimming stuff and came back down...
Claire & Keira both got new floats yesterday, so they were keen to try them out today...
Claire's new float means she can swim a lot better, and start to build some more confidence to swim without the floats...
As you can see, she is getting more confident through, happily jumping into the pool now...
And jumping hand in hand with Carlos...
Here's a before and after shot...
And now Carlos, Claire and Emily are ready to jump...
Claire took a nice picture of Keira and daddy...
And daddy took one with his wonderful girls....
We had planned to celebrate mummy's birthday on Monday in Tokyo...but as we didn't quite make it (yet), so we thought we'd celebrate a bit early (as its the weekend)...
Happy Birthday mummy...
Here's a close-up of the cakes (made by Claire with a little help from daddy)...
