The end of lockdown...

As the kids get ready to return to school tomorrow, after 9 or so weeks at home, we thought we'd capture a couple of highlights from the last few weeks (as there was also a whole lot of the same during this period (not necessarily in order).

We celebrated Mother's Day in isolation...which meant we celebrated the way we did everything else this period... with a bush walk (cue groan from mum and girls)

We ate A LOT of sourdough... including a weird green one!

We enjoyed a lot of couch time...especially as the nights have been getting a bit colder.... Mum and I like this time of year as the girls are more willing to cuddle up on the couch!

Claire was starting to really feel the cold...even when walking (which we did a lot of!)

The girls did assignments at home... including a couple of video'd speeches and presentations.  They got used to 'having meetings' for school...

We had Rosie stay with us for a day...boy Spud was happy to see her again!

And in case I didn't mention it before...we walked... A LOT!

And then...just as life was going back to normal... it was time for Spud to have a haircut, and apparently he was just a little (a lot) matted so needed a close shave... our precious pup is now a freezing pup!
