Summer Holidays 2019/20

 After our whirlwind trip to Indonesia over Christmas, we came back home to enjoy the rest of our holidays at home, enjoying the Sydney summer, our home and Spud!  Unfortunately this Summer was a little dismal with the massive bushfires surrounding Sydney and the associated smog that blanketed the city.

During January, dad took a whole bunch of time off work to spend time with the girls.  So here are some of the highlights...

Firstly, we assembled ALL of our lego.  Over 100 sets in total spanning more than 30 years...

Spud had an adventurous break, swallowing a seed on New Years Eve (requiring an emergency visit to the Vet)... and he also had a minor procedure (ensuring he doesn't procreate) and spent 10 days in the 'cone-of-shame'.

 He (and the girls) were very happy when the cone finally came off!

And he could finally have a bath again!

So we could give him the "full fluff!"

Other than that... we spent a lot of time at cafes, restaurants and various other places enjoying the holiday (without any vacation care!)

 We did go to work once or twice.... And the movies (a few times)

 We ate lots of sweets!

We rode the new Sydney Tram's!

We spent some time with the Meller-clan, where once again Claire showed her potential as a baby sitter.

We went to Treetops for an afternoon.

We had the best burgers in Western Sydney (thanks BL Burgers)

A bowling session with the Campbell's.

Which ended up in a sleep-over (in the tent!)

A pool party with a bunch of the girls friends...

Even Spud got in on the action in his new swim vest!

Celebrating Chinese New Year!

And BBQ...for no other reason than BBQ!

Keira attempted a new do... and Spud did some growing!

 The 'Camping Group' got together for a night out (night in) which ended with the kids being up till 6am!)

And finally... Spud attended his second photoshoot at PetOne...

He was pretty exhausted at the end of it all...
