Canberra | Floriade, Parliament and more...
This weekend with Oma in town we decided to head down to Canberra to see Floriade and enjoy the nation's capital.
It was a beautiful day in Canberra...and after an hour or so in the carpark trying to find a spot, we enjoyed a lovely day out with the flowers.
We even managed a photo or two of the flowers...
When we got to the hotel, which the kids thought was fancy, they found out that the room was loft room, with a bed upstairs... The kids loved the idea of looking down at mum & dad below...and sliding down the stairs on their bums.
We then went to Mount Ainsley... before a dinner in Kingston...
On Monday morning we enjoyed a nice breakfast at the hotel before heading out...
To Parliament House... seeing where all the big decisions are made...
To wrap up the day, we had a quick visit to the Australian Mint, where the kids made their own money... and then onto the National Museum, where the kids visited Kzone again.
