First up for the weekend was a visit to the Deep Space Communication Station, where we learnt a lot about the planets, space travel, and even got to pose in these cool suits.
This photo doesn't really show how massive this dish was...but it was truly massive.
After returning from space, we headed to Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve... For some photo opportunities...
These two look-alikes were waiting patiently by the lagoon...
When what should appear, but a platypus (a few of them actually). They are tiny (and usually very shy), but they were out enjoying the warm spring afternoon.
The girls loved the trail around the park, where we saw an Emu, Wallabies, Platypus, as well as a few Koala's!
On Sunday we went to the National Museum, and had a rare family photo!
The highlight for Keira was K-Space... Solely because of the large K!
And the make-a-robot game was pretty cool too...
If you look closely you may recognise some of the robot/alien heads.

Exploring the outdoor areas...
Having a go at being a radio DJ
Convicts...
And another highlight...the glass eye collections!
