Narabeen Lakes | Camping

Once again the 'camping group' packed up our cars and trailer and headed away for a weekend of fun.  This time around, we headed north to the Sydney Lakeside Holiday Park in Narabeen.  Most of us arrived Friday night, and setup camp (well the parents did at least) whilst the kids roamed the park and made the most of the playgrounds just near our campsites.  Woodfired pizza wrapped up the night nicely.

Saturday morning we awoke to a beautiful day...

Perfect for a day on the beach!

This time the kids set up camp...

Before heading for the cool relief of the water!

Claire had a go at 'surfing' in the wash...

The kids built themselves a rather large sand fort (with a lot of help from the dads)

Even mum got in on the ocean action!

An obligatory selfie...

As the day progressed, we took a walk through the headland, around the rock pools and explored a little.

After all the fun in the sun, we headed back to camp for lunch some rest.

Not that the kids every really stop moving!

Especially when there is a waterpark in the campsite!

Then it was time to properly rest...

Saturday afternoon, such that we didn't waste the beautiful weather, was time to head out to the Lake for a "swim", although most of the water was rather shallow!

Sunday, after packing up the tents, cars and trailer, we all headed over to the North Narrabeen tidal pools for one last swim before heading home... Alas no good photos, but we did get this one of the kids all in one spot (its getting harder to manage these days...
