Winter Playground

Once again winter is upon us, and in line with our apparent annual tradition, it means its time to spend as much time enjoying the sunlight as possible!

After a very wet month of May, the blue sky weekends have been wonderful, and so far we've had two great weekends to start the season.

Last weekend we drove up to Katoomba to visit the Three Sisters, followed by some time at Leura and Wentworth Falls.

The Sisters... (both above and below!)

This weekend just past was quite busy... Mum enjoyed a weekend with friends down in Melbourne while the girls and dad played in Sydney... The weekend started with the school disco (hero themed), where the girls both went as a witch and vampire!

Saturday we visiting Kellyville Pets (which is definitely worth a visit) and then had Kenzie & Lexie over for a playdate and craft...

Sunday we went to Moorebank Sports to meet with Grandma, Grandad, Auntie Karen + Lewis, and Monica and Madeline for lunch and play!

As we were picking up Mum from the airport we decided to head to Maroubra Beach for the afternoon and enjoy the sunshine...

By the end of the day, the kids were a little strange (too many ice-blocks and too much slurpee) and we were all very glad that mum was back and in control!
