Out and About...

So its been a rather busy couple of weeks gone by, between the parties and preparations and other school activities, I think mum and dad are looking forward to the school holidays more than the kids are!

So here we have a collection of some of the many things we've been up to this last month (birthdays aside).

First up was Claire's first school Athletics Carnival...

She had a good try in a few of the events...running and skipping and relays.

Next up was Book Week at school, where the kids had to dress up as their favourite book character... Claire went along as Little Red Riding Hood...

Here's Claire with her Teacher, Miss Feather.

And the whole class

Keira unfortunately wasn't feeling too well that day, and so we had to settle for a very cute sad photo...

That weekend we took the girls bike riding...  Claire's really getting into it these days.

And the weather was stunning for winter...

Alas, Keira was still a bit unwell...

The following week, we caught up with Sheila and Josh for a picnic at Lane Cove, to wish Sheila and Josh the best of luck in their travels and studies over the next year.  Once again we enjoyed a beautiful day (this time with two happy girls!)

The next day as we were on such a roll, we decided to head out to the zoo.  We were amazed that the animals were so active, here's Keira up close and personal with a bear!

We also had a few parties (between the two important ones!)... Daddy's birthday!

Chloe's Birthday

Sarah's birthday

A pirate's party (Anthony)...

Claire, for news at school, decided she was going to write a song and sing it to her friends in class.  This is the song she wrote (and performed in front of her class).

And here is Keira jotting down the score to go along with the song.

Lastly, just a couple of photos from around the house... The girls office setup is getting geekier by the day, each with their own computer setup now....

A friendly garden visitor...

And lastly, Keira and Claire showing off their reading (or memory)...
