Easter Long Weekend | Part 1

A four day weekend means lots of opportunity to do lots of fun things!  And Easter started well this year, with mummy winning the 1st prize in the Preschool raffle... and what did she win, a large hamper of Easter goodies for both the kids and mum & dad!

Here's mummy proudly displaying her prize (with the help of two lovely assistants)...

Easter Friday, and as most of Sydney is closed, we decided to spend a day in the garden... We started with mowing (or as the girls call it, "cleaning the grass"), followed by a quick trim of all the trees and bushes which were getting a little out of control.

Once in the back yard, we decided to pull some of the lemons off the tree, which don't seem to be ripening...

We also thought we'd try out the new tent we bought... the one we used last time was a tad small, so we upgraded to fit the whole family.

Keira's getting the hang of the camping thing...so long as she can sit back and relax in the great outdoors...  Mummy joined in on the action this time!

It was the first time mummy ever slept in a tent... and hopefully not the last time... Next trip will need to be a bit more wild than our backyard!

The girls loved the idea of camping again, and celebrated with a wrestling match (as you do)...

It wasn't really clear who was the winner, but from this photo it looks like Keira may well have fallen asleep mid-match!

Early in the morning, when I woke up, we found our little caterpillar Keira sleeping snugly in her sleeping bag...
