Winter Sun

Wow, another month has flown by, and it seems the camera has been coming out less and less.  We've spent most of the last month renovating, painting, unpacking and packing things away.  We're now almost done (mostly) and enjoyed our first group dinner at our place (7 adults and 8 kids)...  The playroom kind-of exploded, but it all went back together the next morning...so the house has passed the first test!

We attended a trivia night for the Yagoona Guides Guild (of which Auntie Karen and Grandma are members)... and Claire and Keira got to meet their aussie cousins, Tyler, Jackson and Lauralie, and proceeded to run about in the cold and wet field till they were nearly sick...

Claire was very happy to meet more family.

After a couple of days of the girls being sick, we decided to take them to the beach (yes, in the middle of winter)... As you can probably tell by their clothing, it was quite cold.

Unfortunately the next day, all three got even sicker, and spent almost 3 days in bed.  But it was nice to see them outside enjoying the sun and fresh air...

Picture perfect weather really.

We even took a stroll along the beach looking for shells...

Here's Keira explaining to the world who her mummy is...and Claire just being Claire...

One morning, while sitting in the kitchen having breakfast, we noticed something amiss in the pool... 3 ducks enjoying a cool swim...

This is what the 2 girls have been enjoying...breakfast of choice each morning with daddy... Just as long as I am not working I suppose its a treat they can have...

This week we had our first big group dinner, and it was a great night...

Finally, today we took the kids to a new park in Northmead, just to get out and enjoy the winter sun.  The quote from the night was Claire explaining to Ashika that whilst she didn't have the same hair as daddy, she did have the same teeth, with the same gap!

Keira is generally happy to take photos with her mummy and daddy...

Whereas Claire's now more happy to be on her own (not wanting to share the limelight I suppose).

Continuing on with our Keira vs World photos...

Blowing dandelions...wishing...

A rare shot of mummy and daddy together without the girls...
