Hola World! It's now been around 2 weeks since the girls arrived back in Sydney, to begin the next phase of our adventure... The two weeks have flown by, and have mostly revolved around trying to unpack and settle in the house.
For the girls, the most difficult aspect of the return has definitely been adjusting to the cold...especially in the mornings.
During the last two weeks, we've only been out and about a couple of times, and will hopefully settle into a more social life shortly...
Here's the latest cute doll for sale in Morning Glory.
Grandma and Grandad moved into their new home during the last two weeks...and whilst we don't have any pictures of the house, we did manage to try out the gelato store around the corner!
Back at North Rocks, the house is starting to feel like home, especially for the girls who are adapting well to the idea of having a dedicated playspace...
We've been especially lucky with the weather, with today being the first overcast day since they got back...so lots of opportunities to get out onto the trampoline (though sadly for the girls, the pool seems a bit unobtainable - its near freezing!).
Soon enough it was time to head to the airport and farewell Oma... It's going to be especially tough for Oma these next few months...after seeing the girls very often in Singapore (and daily in Semarang) we're facing a long time till we meet again.
Yesterday we headed for our first walk around the neighborhood...
Just a short walk from the house (well, given how much walking we have done these past 4 months, it was a long walk!) there is a nice park with a playground.
Claire remembered the way as she'd been there at Christmas with Grandma and Grandad.
I am guessing we'll be spending many weekends here...
And before we go... a passing shot of our cheeky Keira!
