Today is Singapore's National Day, and whilst the nation was busy enjoying their 46th year as a nation, we had a great family day (with no work. The morning started with a relaxing session of drawing and dancing. Followed by a good long swim downstairs. A short sleep followed by play-doh just about made the day a treat for the girls, when daddy decided it was time to risk the crowds and head over to East Coast Park to go bike riding...
As expected, it was a hit with at least two of the girls...
Keira can't quite yet peddle the bike, but she definitely has the riding spirit!
And needed a nice cold drink under the palm trees to relax afterwards...
Still drinking...but with some food... it was a long ride to the cafe...
Keira feeling much better after hydrating herself...
After dark, the playground came to life, and the girls had a ride on the caterpillar...
It started okay, but it did end in some tears when it accelerated...but they were brave enough to ride the flying elephants afterwards.
Here's a video of the caterpillar...
And another of daddy torturing Keira in the car...
Pity its back to work tomorrow...felt like the start of a nice weekend...
Love c&k...
