Phuket, Thailand

September 16, and a year ago today, Hanna and I vowed to be together forever. A year has passed, and we still feel the same, so all is well!

We spent a nice weekend in Phuket, and were stared at wherever we went. Do we need to wear a sign that reads "We're married and are not paying for each other's company", or something like that? Its quite insulting when people stare as if we are doing something wrong.

Other than that, Phuket was a nice place, not that we saw a lot. This was probably our first holiday where we rested and enjoyed the resort. We swam in the pool and had a massage. I can now understand why people chose hotels with good facilities.

We're afraid there are no real photos from this trip. We wanted to get some photos of the beautiful beaches and landscapes, but every day was overcast and raining, so we left the camera at the hotel and relaxed on the beach until it rained. Anyway, who wants to see photos from our anniversary!

These are a couple of the resort, which was very nice. It was great to sit out on the balcony and read a book. I think I could quite happily retire to a beachside resort fro a while... If only someone would sponsor us!

:-)
